This trilingual "Every Child Matters" Thunderbird sticker was designed by Melaney Gleeson-Lyall (Point). Melaney is an artist, author, and designer with roots from Musqueam, Snaw'naw'as, and Lyackson First Nations. She is a sixties scoop survivor reclaiming culture through art and design.

Thunderbird Design Description
The Thunderbird symbolizes the protector. The Salish eye in the wings represents their ancestors. The Star represents those who have passed away since the Residential Schools opened in Canada. The human figure below the star represents all the Indian Residential School survivors and inter-generational survivors.

There are 3 Languages of the phrase "Every Child Matters" on the sticker: hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (Musqueam), Chinese & English
